The Nursery Subcolony

Overview
The Nursery Subcolony refers to a group of cats within The Roundabout Colony that take refuge in a plant nursery. These cats were previously fed on the other side of the business fence in a hotel parking lot at which point they were called The Hotel Subcolony. However, when a new hotel manager took over who was less tolerant of the cats and the feeding, relations were established with the nursery and found that they were very welcoming of the cats and went so far so to provide Apoinsettia with keys to enter and care for the cats at will.
On April 12, 2023 the nursery would be impacted from flooding due to heavy rains. The area of Southern Florida would report over 20 inches (some above 25 inches) of rain within approximately 12 hours.
