The Hideaway Subcolony
History and Lore
Although this colony is one of the most recent subcolonies to be introduced to the channel, it has already made great impressions. One of the cats was notably friendly from their initial appearance along with several others being skittish, but approachable. Many would open up to becoming very friendly and they all seem to largely live harmoniously and share well with one another without conflict.
The first cat named here would be Cinnamon "The Whale" Swirl, who Apo insists was not neutered on their first meeting, but was neutered by unknown influence just a week after.
After a total year of feeding at the colony; a flurry of new cats would appear on the property. There would be a white tabby male; a white tabby female, two tuxedo kittens and two white tabby kittens. The random addition of the cats is seemingly unwarranted and random; which has prompted some speculation.
It would not be long after these cats were introduced that one of the kittens that the property referred to as "JJ" (or Jakey Junior) would be the victim of a severe leg injury. The source of the injury would never be known, but would leave some of the bone exposed and have a circular wound on his inner thigh that would be infected. This would lead to a rescue mission taking the kitten off the street.
