Snow Leopard
History and Lore
Originally discovered with Storm (mother) and Guyliner (brother) in The Corner Subcolony, Snow Leopard was the first of the cats in the subcolony to be named due to him being the most common and frequently seen out of his peers. The name suggestion came from moderator OrdoShorty. He is considered to eat the most amount of food on the entire channel, scarfing down several cans of food in a single sitting. It's unknown why this is as Snow Leopard is treated the same as the other cats in AutoShop, subject to both food in the morning and night every day. It can be assumed that feeders leave food out for him and move on to the next subcolony, but Snow was often the victim of the peahen that lived amongst them and stole food from the cats that lived there. He may have been compensating for lost meals.
Due to construction at the area of their home at The Corner Subcolony, the family has no longer been found together. The construction of their home would result in the family taking a massive split in multiple directions. Snow's mother Storm lives currently at the Tirehold Subcolony, and Guyliner resides in the farther end of the corner alongside other cats. Snow Leopard, however, has not been seen since the construction with many feeders on the look for him. Tufts of furr would be found a few blocks away, closer to an old colony called the Treetops subcolony that has not been visited, that can match the description of Snow.
Personality
Snow Leopard is the most common and is the most approachable, often coming up to Apoinsettia and eating right in front of him. He does not enjoy being pet or the presence of people, which does not classify him as friendly.
Appearance
Snow is a longhair, a trait shared by the other cats here, but has silver streaks on his body with normal tabby markings on his silver pattern. This appearance is not shared by either of his family members, which makes him easier to identify. He has a normal and considerably healthy body shape, especially for how much he eats.
Relations
- Although Snow Leopard seems to tolerate and maybe even like him, he has been seen slapping and even growling at Guyliner.
Theories
- Snow Leopard is still theorized to be alive, despite other feeders finding tufts of fur matching his description. Nothing has been confirmed, especially considering the location the furr was discovered is 4x the distance traveled compared to where his mother Storm would travel. It is unlikely Snow would vanish that far, but his disappearance being ongoing raises questions about his well-being.
