Romeo
History and Lore
Romeo is a cat among those of The Nursery Subcolony. He isn't one of the most common or noteworthy personalities in the colony, but has a regular presence and will occasionally have screen time often when catnip is involved.
He was named by Twitch chat in April 2023. He became known for his idiosyncratic way of enjoying catnip. Whereas many cats will become quite hyperactive, kicking toys, and rolling, Romeo will typically cuddle with a toy very tenderly, lick at it, and nuzzle against it. This observation spawned the name suggestions of many famous historical and literary lovers, with Romeo, of course, being the winning name.
Personality
Romeo is a rather skittish cat, who typically will retreat when approached too closely. He seems to be lower on the pecking order in the colony with some of the larger, more dominant, or daring and friendly cats eating before him.
Although Romeo is a cat that carries on without much controversy, on September 9, 2023 he became the first and only cat to have urinated on any of the streaming equipment, having squated over ASMR mic just out of frame and utterly defiling it.
Appearance
Romeo is a brown tabby. He has an ear notch indicating he has been neutered.
