Pepita
History and Lore
Pepita is a cat that resides in The Hedges Subcolony of The Alley and would first become known to the channel in late Summer of 2022. She lives among an interesting family unit who are all often seen on the channel together and will share meals with one another. She has a tabby brother, Tomatillo, from the same litter and as well as her mother, an all black cat and father, who is a BIG tabby with the puffy cheeks, or stud jowls, of an unneutered male. The mother also has younger kittens with a large tuxedo, and resident channel maniac, Forrest Grump. These would be the rescued kittens Chatterbox, Shiver, and Fidget who are her half sisters.
Pepita would be named in a Twitch chat poll with the name suggestion coming from moderator Peppperjam, referencing her small stature. The same day of Pepita's naming, a Tiktok video feeding Pepita was posted, which would receive Apoinsettia's highest views.
Personality
Pepita is commonly present on the stream, appearing very regularly and seldom missing any camera time at this location. In spite of this, she remains skittish and doesn't allow Apoinsettia to approach too closely. However, progress seems to have been made with her allowing him to approach and eat in front of him whereas she would retreat and flee when she was much younger.
Pepita is known to enjoy catnip and frequently will attempt to run off with toys, retreating with them into the hedges.
Appearance
A grey tabby with white, she has a considerable amount of white with some blocks of tabby markings. Pepita also has a bright pink nose, green eyes and is notably rather small in stature.
