Mystic
History and Lore
Mystic is a cat in The Fence Subcolony known to have an interesting personality. He is a friendly cat and can be pet, and even held. He tends to avoid contact even if he has his tail raised as a friendly sign. At times, he can be pet only to sink his body to the ground to avoid Apoinsettia's hand. Despite this, he is still very sweet with people, especially when food and catnip are involved.
Most cats in the colony, especially the Newcomers, seem to fear Mystic. At times Mystic will approach food and the cats currently eating will fold their ears or run away. Mystic is known to be antagonistic with other cats, but rarely gets aggressive. Mystic seems to have no real friends in the subcolony, as even the other friendly residents such as Swiffer and Shade tend to avoid him. He is not seen harassing other cats on stream, but based on other cats' behaviors towards him this may happen sparingly off camera. This hints to the possibility that he might be an alpha of the colony. Mystic also does not get along with Rorschach and both share their worst reactions only with each other.
Mystic is known to be heavily affected by catnip. He's also been known to hop into the trunk of the car and eat left overs from other cans of cat food. Or, more commonly, help himself to some catnip or catnip toys in the trunk of the car. When confronted, he tends to bolt out of the trunk and even take toys with him.

Mystic is listed as a Grey Tabby but can also be considered a Brown Tabby as Tabby colorings are vague. He has light green eyes, and lovely markings that surround his eyes that Apoinsettia compares to eyeliner. He has a white bib around his neck that blends into his grey coat. His markings are deep and spotted and extend throughout his body.
Random Facts
- Mystic only began to open up to others the same day he was introduced to Cobalt. Since then, he's been more trusting with others.
- Mystic was originally assumed to be a female due to his feminine appearance, and was classified as such for a while.
Relations
- Although Mystic does not seem to get along with any cat, he routinely has problems with Rorschach, being the one cat to not back down from him.
