McLake
Subcolony Overview
The McLake refers to a subcolony of cats, and is a fan favorite. The colony consists of primarily tabbies that have been known to look identical and sparked the discussion of the McLake Cloning Theory. Although these look-alikes can be found in adjacent colonies such as the Protein Pod, it's believed that the McLake harbors the majority of these members.
The McLake is named due to the first cats in the subcolony to be named after McDonald's fast food menu items, such as Big Mac and the limited edition Travis Scott Burger. Many of these cats as of now are currently unnamed, leaving hope to some who seek to liberate the shackles of McDonald's names.
McLake Exodus
In September/October 2022, with the building of new fences, cats in this area seemed to migrate toward new areas, largely The Leafpile Subcolony.
Surroundings
The McLake has an open view of the same lake by the Protein Pod, giving sight to the vast water. The colony starts by a curb, to which cats may be seen on the outskirts of, but can retreat into their vegetated safety that borders the left side of the lake, away from the open view.
