Marigold
History & Lore
Marigold is the only confirmed ALL orange female tabby on the channel (most have varying degrees of white), which resides at The Round Subcolony, the roundabout that gives The Roundabout Colony its name. She is common presence, appearing nearly every stream at this location.
Marigold had a contentious naming between Apoinsettia and moderator Peppperjam, with Apoinsettia wanting the name "Passionfruit" and Peppperjam preferring his suggestion "Marigold" but later switched support to viewer Haay's suggestion "Tiger Lily". Apoinsettia's name "Passionfruit" won, yet an unsatisfied Peppperjam, disappointed in the name, it being presented as a single word, and having waited so long to name a regular, friendly cat on the channel, redeemed a repoll on the name. Upon returning the following stream at the location, a new poll was conducted where "Marigold" would then win definitively by a surprisingly significant margin.
Personality
Though a bit skittish at first, Marigold has opened up and become quite friendly as she's become used to Apoinsettia's presence and feedings. She commonly rubs against Apo's legs and will often welcome pets.
Appearance
Marigold is an all orange tabby, which is very rare among females. Her vivid orange coloration is reminiscent of her namesake flower, the marigold. She has bright jade-green eyes and has a rather small stature.
