Jinx

From Apoinsettia

History and Lore

Jinx was at some point not even known to exist, as The Backlot Subcolony cats were well fed and looked after, with most cats accounted for. Yet after months Jinx randomly made his presence known, sneaking up on food while still being skittish. Although other cats in the area are known of, such as an unnamed Russian Blue, Esperanza, and Wilford Brimley Cat, Jinx had never been seen before. Jinx is believed to be the son of Indigo and brother of Esperanza, both of whom share The Backlot Subcolony.

After continuously feeding Jinx, multiple sources confirmed that he is the son of Indigo, and is the brother to Esperanza and the unnamed Russian Blue. Despite this, Jinx is rarely seen with Indigo.

Personality

Jinx is very attentive and watches the actions of Apoinsettia and the other cats closely. When initially introduced to the channel, he felt much more confident watching from the bushes and came out to eat when things were calmer or the coast was clear. Since then, Jinx feels much more comfortable eating around Apo and the other cats in the subcolony. He can't be pet, but approaches fairly close. Whether he may open up, like his mother Indigo who needed time, is debatable. He is very good with the other cats, but seemingly has no friends.

Appearance

Jinx takes closely after his mother, sharing her fur coloring and deep dark orange eyes. His key difference from her is the length of his fur, to which Indigo is a longhair. He is a large cat, potentially the largest in the sub-colony and his immediate peers. He is larger than Domino and Lockheed Martin X-59 QueSST and although is the same length as Longboy, he is thicker.
