Jaffacake
History and Lore
A cat that is often distant with the other cats at the Transformer subcolony of the Alley, Jaffacake is still a fan favorite and an honorary member of The Boys. He was always around the colony, but one day began to open up significantly (as attested to in this Tiktok). His friendliness can't be compared to Berber and Sunshine, who are both affectionate to a heavy degree, but when approached enjoys to be pet. He was named after a viewer shared their story of a cat they owned with the same name that passed, as an act of respect. He can be seen at the Fence subcolony on occasion.
Jaffacake was reported by the Alley Feeder as lethargic and unable to walk, and was hanging around Ambush and Mookitty's hidden spot in the Fence subcolony. Since this announcement, Jaffa has not been seen again, and although it is not known what happened, it is most likely he is deceased.
Personality
Although listed as friendly, Jaffa can be odd, and may need some convincing or reminding that Apoinsettia or yourself is a friend. Letting them sniff you and having food nearby is a great way to reintroduce yourself to him. When Jaffacake arrives, he often rubs on other objects and meows lightly. He isn't seen with the other cats at the Transformer subcolony much, and distances himself to even be isolated, similar to Mystery who lives nearby, but not to her extremes of vanishing for different intervals of time. Regardless, Jaffacake is a friend.
Appearance
Although he shares a similar resemblance to Marmalade who lives just down, there's no confirmation to any relation between the two. Jaffacake has a much skinnier body type than Marmalade. Jaffacake is mostly white, with orange splotches, and a very distinct sharp face.
