Holstein
History and Lore
Holstein is an elder of The Nursery Subcolony. He is a very distinguished and striking presence when he appears. His presence in the area had been noted for quite a long time and the name was derived from chatters several years ago referring to him as looking like a Holstein cow. Finally in 2023 with the advocacy of the Peppperjam to cement the historic reference to the cat, his name was made canon as Holstein
There was a period of time when Holstein was walking with a limp, however he seemed to have recovered fully and was thriving in the nursery.
As of fall 2023, Holstein's presence seems to have been missing for several weeks.
Personality
Holstein is a skittish cat that doesn't allow humans to approach too closely. He seems like a grumpy old man that will often slap the other cats that impede him having a meal.
Appearance
Holstein is white and black with a distinct black diamond or lozenge shape on his snout. His most distinctive characteristic is his clouded, blind right eye.
