Grumpy Face Kitty
History and Lore
Originally a cat that stayed in the Straightaway Subcolony, Grumpy Face Kitty was never properly named by Twitch Chat through a poll or other means. In fact, the name was a name that Apoinsettia used to identify her apart from the other cats, and the name simply stuck becoming her identity. This is also the same manner in which Wizard Kitty and Pretty Face Kitty were named.
Grumpy Face Kitty went missing for a series of months, more than likely due to the fact that the junkyard that was near the Straightaway subcolony was completely cleared, preventing the cats from having their usual homes and shelters in an event called The Great Split. Some other cats in the area went missing due to this, but were later rediscovered just south of the subcolony, but Grumpy Face Kitty instead relocated to an entirely different subcolony known as The Loop Subcolony. This is interesting because for an extended period of time, the only known cats here were Stardust and Oliver.
Grumpy Face moved from her end of the Loop where Cloud and Peaches once lived to where Stardust and Oliver live, although the reason for her migration was not known.
Prior to Apoinsettia's arrival, Grumpy Face was difficult to catch due to them being hit by a drop trop by a feeder than missed and startled them. Grumpy Face would also develop mange before ever meeting Apoinsettia which required her to be treated, which may explain her unique nature, and maybe even appearance.
Sadly, during the Twitch stream on April 3, 2022 Apoinsettia was informed by the primary feeder at The Loop Subcolony that Grumpy Face Kitty was no longer with us.
Personality
Grumpy Face was once one of the most stand-offish and hard to approach cats in both the Loop and the Straightaway, but later began to open up and trust more the more she moves around. She was very vocal and even approachable before, but still prefers not to be pet or interacted with.
Appearance
As evident by her name, Grumpy Face Kitty had facial features to that of one who is upset or frustrated, and was assumed that to be her genetics rather that she is constantly in a state of anger.

Events
Early Apo Era
- Grumpy Face Kitty disappears from her initial home of the Straightaway subcolony due to The Great Split.
Retreat Apo Era
- Grumpy Face, months later, is rediscovered in the Loop subcolony with new faces.
- Grumpy Face moves closer to the entrance of the Loop subcolony, marking her third relocation.
