Floral
History and Lore
Floral is a personal favorite of Apoinsettia, discovered in April 2022. They would be found outside of the usual Twitch Livestreams, causing Apo to immediately record the experience he had with this very vocal cat. She had seemed very hungry, and when food was left out she approached not seeming to mind Apoinsettia's presence but still being cautious.
Apo would try to head out to feed her and share her with Twitch, but she would not be present the following Sunday. However, the Sunday after Floral would be present, and then the next Sunday she would even come out after being vocal and becoming extremely affectionate. She would be named that stream.
On Christmas Day 2022, Floral would finally be rescued off of the street and the junkyard-like conditions she was living in. Being an affectionate and trusting cat, a trap wasn't even needed. She was simply encouraged into a carrier by Apoinsettia. Since being taken in, Floral has been adapting well and remains her cheery vocal self. The potential adopter that was interested in Floral has been MIA over the holidays, but there is hope they will return and see the adoption through.
Personality
Floral is a perfect mix of shy and friendly. She is considerably cautious before making any movement, often meowing to herself, and can slowly approach. After she approaches slowly, she is a burst of affection often purring and leaning into the pets, making her very unique. The is extremely vocal, making several different types of meows, often with some chirping noises.
Appearance
Floral is a lovely cat, with a unique color pattern. She can be considered a "calico" but displays an unusual calico color, seemingly appearing like a white and grey tabby, with freckles of orange in between. She is described by Apo as being "one of the prettiest cats ever seen".
