Fidget
History and Lore
In November 2022, kittens were spotted at The Hedges. One night, a tuxedo kitten was captured, which appeared uncannily as a miniature version of Forrest Grump, the most intense and aggressive of all cats on the channel. This female kitten was extremely vocal, earning her the monicker Chatterbox from Apoinsettia.
Following her trapping, it wasn't clear how many kittens were present. And on the suspicion of their being more due to the rarity of a single kitten in a litter, Apoinsettia returned the following night. Two more female kittens were captured and rescued. First was another tuxedo who would be named Shiver followed by an all black kitten, which would be Fidget. Due to the striking resemblance between the kittens and Forrest Grump (notably Chatterbox and Shiver), they are all believed to be his daughters in spite of being found after his being neutered. The kittens would collectively be referred to as The Saplings, a play on the name Forrest.
Fidget would be given her name in a Twitch chat poll. Due to the kittens being feral, unsocialized, and rather frightened of their new indoor environment, they were shaking in fear hence the names "Shiver" and "Fidget".
Not long after a short period of socialization, a member of the community, FlooGames, expressed interest in adopting. As a trial period, she would take both Fidget as well as Dollop, another recently rescued kitten, eventually deciding to keep Fidget, renaming her "Wednesday". Fidget aka Wednesday has since been known to contribute to the chat with FlooGames during livestreams with occasional keyboard button mashing.
Appearance
Fidget is an all black cat, unlike her siblings which are tuxedos and have varying degrees of white.
