Drizzle
History and Lore
Drizzle first became known to the channel at The Roundabout Colony along with siblings Tempest and Acorn as well as mom DaisyMae after she had recently given birth to them as kittens no more than two months prior. It was particularly tense as they were quite young, small kittens and Hurricane Ian was forecast to make landfall in only a couple of days when they were discovered. With the rescue operation at home already at capacity including some with an outbreak of ringworm and a recently convalescing snowshoe siamese already relegated to the bathroom, space was scarce. Yet ensuring the health and safety of all the cats was a top priority. Apoinsettia was determined to rescue the kittens, returning the next night to trap them.
Drizzle was the last to be trapped, following both siblings and his mother, who hadn't been intended to be trapped at first. A highlight video of the trapping was added to the Apoinsettia YouTube channel here.
In April 2023, Drizzle along with Shadowban would be placed on transport to New Hampshire with another rescue to be adopted.
Appearance
Drizzle is a brown mackerel tabby who has darker, more prominent markings compared to his siblings.
