Dorito

From Apoinsettia

History and Lore

A fan favorite cat at The Bushes Subcolony, Dorito prefers to hang out in the background Dorito is one of a few tortoiseshells and is most recognizable by her triangle orange shape on their head, resembling a Dorito. The other, more prominent tortoiseshell in this location being Mooki, however it is very clear to tell them apart by their distinctive markings.

Dorito is believed to have rotten teeth by Apoinsettia and fans, as she struggles to eat wet food at times often licking her lips repeatedly and tilting her head. She seemingly tries to compensate by sticking to broths and gravy centered flavors.

Personality

Dorito is rather asocial with other cats often being the victim of Bond, who seems to target any cat. This may be the reason Dorito keeps to herself, prefers being in the background, and likes to eat when no cats are around -- or when Apoinsettia keeps their distance.

She prefers to be on the sidelines and is not seen eating as common as her peers for wanting to stay out of the way. Apo takes note of this and tries to feed her, but she is almost guaranteed to run away.

Appearance

Dorito's most noticeable feature, as previously mentioned, is their Dorito shaped orange splotch, which has been the prime motivator for naming this cat. Other than the obvious feature on her forehead, Dorito is a tortoiseshell with a considerably grumpy demeanor. They are on the skinnier side, considerably the most skinny cat in her subcolony.

Relations

  • Bond has been seen smacking Dorito, which is common for Bond to do to others.
