Cassiopeia
History and Lore
Cassiopeia is a cat that resides in an area of The Alley Colony called The Planter Subcolony. She was introduced to the channel shortly after having been TNRed following the birth of a little of kittens. It was somewhat miraculous that the kittens would survive while Cassiopeia had been trapped to be fixed; they were young enough where it was questionable that they would have fully weaned at that point.
Cassiopeia's kittens would become known as "The Handfuls"; dubbed thus due to the kittens being so young they were able to be caught by hand by Apo and CobaltCastaway without the use of any traps. The kittens would be named Halo, Northstar, Chuchu, and Peepo. In a very tragic turn of events, one morning Peepo was found to have suddenly passed away overnight. Although seemingly a bit underweight, it occurred without warning. Nevertheless, the other kittens have grown healthy and strong and continued to thrive.
Cassiopeia is still often found alongside Man With A Mortgage, a playful yet skittish Russian blue.
Personality
Cassiopeia is a skittish to shy cat that is quite feral and seems uncomfortable around humans. She keeps her distance when approached, but seems to be comfortable with camera equipment including the lighting that is used as the subcolony is often visited late, after sundown.
Appearance
Cassiopeia is a brown tabby with a considerable amount of white on her face, covering most of her underside, and back.
