History and Lore
#Blessed was a cat that raised concerns when seen that she had carried a large gash in her neck that had stayed for close to two months, leaving many viewers worried about her state. Although Apoinsettia had first aid equipment for animals in his trunk, he would have never be able to get close to her as she was one of the shyest cats among the Newcomers in their early days. This cat would be defined by her many physical concerns. At some point, her wound went away completely, and more than likely was a simple injury that she kept scratching and provoking, causing it to worsen before it had healed.
In the month of February 2022, one of the alley feeders would alert the others, including Apo, that the 'tiny tabby' they named Princess would be found that morning, and later buried in the same colony she lived on. The news hit the feeders, Apo, and the fans tough as #Blessed overcame so much in her life, and was one of two of the last Newcomers, leaving Gloves to be the last of her kind.
Personality
#Blessed (The hashtag being a part of their name despite the title not having it) was one of the later cats to be among those known as the Newcomers to appear. She always remained shy, keeping her distance from Apoinsettia but didn't seem to pay them any mind. She often kept to herself and ran her own errands. She didn't come to eat as often as the others. #Blessed was taken in by the Alley Feeder to be spayed and returned, and was calm in her stay there.
Appearance
#Blessed was a very skinny cat, especially considering the Fence subcolony is the most well fed out of all the Alley. Her scrawny frame was recognizable even from afar, and made her the skinniest cat in all of the Alley. When first appearing in the Alley, she had a wound around her neck and was rarely seen, raising concerns for this cat. This wound remained for months, but appeared to be due to scratching and opening the wound. Normally not an issue, but as strays this can open them up for disease. She also had a noticeable eye concern, which seemed to be common with the Newcomers as Fleur and Sadie shared the same eye issue. It didn't seem to affect her, but can't be traced to any specific cause.
The name is a comical reference to the popular hashtag used by influencers, but Apo and other fans referred to her as "Bliss" as she was a cat that deserves a legitimate name.
