Biteback

From Apoinsettia

History and Lore

Biteback originally came from a group of 4 kittens, one of these kittens being her brother Fistfight. The remaining two kittens weren't as shaken and defensive as Fistfight and Biteback and were put to the floor after a day of socializing. Fistfight and Biteback needed extra time to adjust to life indoors and did well, in the span of a week going from spitting and hostile kittens to lovable and charming ones. Althought Fistfight and an unnamed tabby kitten were already captured by mutual friend, Rabbit Girl, two of the other kittens both black were still at large. Apoinsettia, Cobalt, and Rabbit Girl all were involved in finding the remaining two which were nursing on their mother under a piece of plywood.

Biteback earned her name as upon the night of trapping, Biteback bit Cobalt on her finger, in a completely justifiable and defensive method. The other kitten, an all black male, was much more calm and was handled by Apoinsettia.

Both kittens were infested in fleas, but were treated with medication with acted within minutes after both were combed with a flea comb.

Personality

Initially, Biteback was not as explosive and aggressive as Fistfight. In fact, after the initial bite from the night she was taken, she never swatted or bit again, while her brother was very defensive. Biteback did the occasional hissing and usually signs of aggression a feral kitten does, but never acted upon them, and when picked up simply maintained her hissing. Within the process of a week, Biteback became a neutral cat, attentive to people but more concerned with playing and exploring, as she constantly found new things to find entertainment in.

Appearance

Biteback looks nothing similar to her brother, as she is an all black female cat with a white splotch on her chest. This made her much more difficult to find upon the night of trapping.
