Beefquake
History and Lore
In spite of The Gate Subcolony being a frequented area with familiar cats dating back for a couple years, Beefquake would be a new addition to join the regular cast of characters found in the area in Summer 2022. After appearing on a couple of streams, he would be named Beefquake by Twitch chat to to refer to this new, somewhat shy fellow. The name was suggested by moderator Peppperjam, and won the naming poll by a surprisingly large margin.
Appearance
Beefquake is a silver tabby that doesn't have quite as pronounced striped tabby markings in contrast to some of the others on the channel, such as Earl Grey from another colony altogether (The Alley Colony). Being an unfamiliar silver tabby with no notch on the ear as well as clear stud jowls, or chubby cheeks that develop in unneutered breeding males, he is certainly a male.

Personality
Beefquake is a rather shy cat that keeps his distance. He doesn't seem to allow Apo to approach closely, however he is comfortable with the camera equipment and seems to be motivated by both food and catnip. In time and with repeated encounters with positive experiences, perhaps he'll become a friendly cat. Ensuring he gets neutered will be a priority to ensure that as well in order to keep the territorial hormones in check.
