Barista
History and Lore
Barista would be a cat that was fed as a stray in the Treeline subcolony, and would quickly take Apoinsettia and Twitch Chat by storm when she was not only noted as a rare Cream Point Siamese, but was friendly towards Apoinsettia on their first initial visit.
Not long after her initial appearance, it was noted in a livestream that Barista would appear pregnant, and very far along in her pregnancy. This would prompt Apoinsettia to attempt to rescue her. The local feeder had been seen on streams and Apo had known of tensions between them and a feeder close to the channel known as Feeder N, who also feeds the Warehouse colonies where Apo had first met them. Despite these tensions, Apo would make an attempt to let the feeder know of the plan to let her nurse indoors and safely and, due to her being a friendly cat, be adopted out along with her kittens. This would prompt a very tense discussion, that would lead to an argument. During this argument, the feeder would share that there was no need to spay the mother, due to her last two litters being completely eaten by raccoons in the area, which Apo considers to be one of the most heartless things to ever be heard on the channel. The feeder was strictly against fixing any of the cats as well, which may explain why the colony she lived in was so large.
Apo would take a team of trappers to trap the mom, who went willingly as easily as she was friendly, and informed the local county officials of the colony to which they followed through promising to fix the cats there and even offered to investigate the feeder for many reasons. It was then that a promise was made, that her third and final litter of kittens would survive this time, safe and indoors with a real chance at life, and that mom would be rescued out as well.
She would give birth to a considerably small litter of three kittens, London Fog, Caramel Macchiato, and Cider. It would be the same stream that Twitch named the kittens, that they would name her Barista, to which Apo calls her Ista, for short.
Personality
Barista holds the title of being the friendliest mom cat on the channel, rivaling Peony who had to open up slowly, and even Bella, who was affectionate yet shy. She is chirpy and often purrs at the sight of people. Barista is considered to have a loud purr by Twitch Chat. She can be seen rubbing on the cage she lives in often as a show of affection, to which Apo says she does often.
She is a messy cat.
Appearance
Barista is a Cream Point Siamese, similar to that of a Flame Point Siamese, but with much fainter tones of orange and with more plain beige colorings. Another cat in the Treeline colony is known to be a Cream Point Siamese, and may be distantly related. None of her kittens would share Siamese color patterns.
