Acorn
History and Lore
Acorn first became known to the channel at The Roundabout Colony along with siblings Tempest and Drizzle as well as mom DaisyMae after she had recently given birth to them as kittens no more than two months prior. It was particularly tense as they were quite young, small kittens and Hurricane Ian was forecast to make landfall in only a couple of days when they were discovered. With the rescue operation at home already at capacity including some with an outbreak of ringworm and a recently convalescing snowshoe siamese already relegated to the bathroom, space was scarce. Yet ensuring the health and safety of all the cats was a top priority. Apoinsettia was determined to rescue the kittens, returning the next night to trap them.
Acorn would be the first of them to be trapped by, surprisingly, entering the trap out of sheer curiosity and not being lured in with any food, toys, or anything otherwise, becoming the first cat to do so on the channel and potential caught on film ever. Acorn would be adopted to a new home but would spend most of the time hiding. The adopters, seeing Acorn asocial, would then return him to Apoinsettia to find a better suited home where he would be happier.
Personality
Acorn is considered the funniest of his siblings, often considered the "clown" of the family. He is very adamant about slapping things he is unfamiliar with, and often uses slapping as a way to interact with things. He is very fast.
Appearance
Acorn is a brown mackerel tabby similar in appearance to both siblings, although Tempest is has a lighter face and more muted overall coloring and patterns and Drizzle has darker, more prominent markings.
